We have just completed our water filtration project with Gillian Williamson and Natasha Barr from NI Water. We discovered that water needs to be treated so that it is safe for us to drink and that waste water must be made clean before it is returned to the environment.
Our class enjoyed creating and testing experiments to turn a bottle of dirty water into clean water. There was great excitement when we got to be scientists for the morning!!!
