It was that time of year again, going to Castlerock on the train for our end of year Nursery trip.
We had the best day, and the weather was so nice! The highlight of the trip was going on the train and seeing all the different sights, particularly going through those dark tunnels! We even got to visit the driver’s area on the train with the train conductor to see all the different controls. The children loved sounding the horn!
When we got there, we headed to the beach with our buckets and spades ready to make some sandcastles.
After this we had worked up an appetite and we were ready for lunch in the big hall.
After filling up our tummies we headed out to the park for a little play before getting back on the train again and coming home.
It was the best day, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
